Spent the night at the Big Shoot Marina, wanted to see how it works, traveled with Texas 2 Step/ and ran into Nova Jornada (JB & Kirt) walked over and watched how the shoot works and we are ready to go tomorrow.

A great stop in Orillia, ON! Summer festival on Saturday! Mani/Pedi I feel human again! Met up with our friends on Texas 2 Step, and scored Reba tickets for a Rama Casino, a wonderful clean smoke free casino in Rama, ON. The venue held 5,000 and not a bad seat in the house. We had dinner with Curtis & Michaeleen at a Chinese restaurant prior to the concert. Great evening! We spent 3 day's in Orillia ( buy 2 get 1 free) Laundry/provisions and on our way!

This is the Canal Lake High Arch Bridge an historical engineering marvel Built in 1905 Hole in the Wall Bridge a perfect half circle.

Today we will pass through Rosedale lock #35, the last lock to raise the boats a short 4'. Beyond this lock is the highest place in the system at 598 feet in elevation above Trenton. From here it is a 260' drop to Georgian Bay.

Our next stop was Lock # 34 Fenelon Falls. Met up with our friends on Babe & Texas 2 Step. This was "houseboat amateur hour" On the Trent Severn & the beautiful lakes in this part of Canada, families rent houseboats for their summer holiday. People that have never driven a boat, or drive a boat once a year. Put all your fenders out and stay alert!. Oh the stories we could tell! Great ice cream! and we are on our way.
