So happy to see my friend Teri Deering. Teri and I go back to by day's as a Account Executive for Clinique she trained me. It was fun catching up and experiencing Fast Eddy's a burger/ bque place in Alton. You order your food and they take only cash! 3 cheeseburgers, 2 dozen peel and eat shrimp & a basket of fries for under $20. then you pay for your drinks at the table from server I ordered a cider as not sure what the wine would be as they kept both the red and the white in the cooler with the beer. Love a restaurant that promotes safe sex! On down the Mighty Mississippi tomorrow.

Our first experience with covered slips. With the temperature over 90 the shade was welcomed. We had docks on both sides of the boat so I was able to give Bucket List a good bath., although by the next morning the spiders had done a job on her. I had no idea that spiders can cause such a mess!!!!! About 8-10 other loopers here taking a rest before we start down the Mississippi, great pool!

We enter the mighty Mississippi River today! as we exit Illinois Waterway at Grafton, IL a power boat race is making the circle around the island and back down the Mississippi. As the current picks up speed and the barges are plentiful we dodge logs and debris.
