The Atlantic was ruff as we headed out at 6 am with our 7 boat fleet. One of the boats turned around and went back to Atlantic City, the rest of us went out the to 3 mile mark and the ride was smoother ( not smooth but smoother) as we arrived in Manasquan the Atlantic was flat and it was only 2 pm so we decided to keep going to Staten Island. Arrived in Great Kills Harbor about 5 pm. This Harbor was wiped out by Hurricane Sandy and is still being rebuilt. the docks are in rough shape but we stayed the night, and on to NYC.
